Last week The Factory was filming in Montreal near my work on Lucien L'Allier near the Bell Center.
An abandoned building was renovated to look like a Buffalve.o police station and had signs saying Buffalo Police Station 3 in front.
The entire street was closed off for many hours last week and some Buffalo police cars were out front.
That's all the info I have. Don't know if John Cusask was spotted or not.

They are filming a few scenes in Lachine this friday between 17:00PM and 7:00AM.
The scenes will be on the 7th ave. between Notre-Dame and William McDonald, on William McDonald between the 10th and the 6th and on Victoria between the 10th and the 3rd Avenue.
I got the info because I live on the 8th and we got a letter from DCP Productions...

thanks for the info. You can imagine how tough it is for those in his profession (no matter how much expected it is) to be out in public and just wanting to relax during a decent meal.
he has been putting on weight recently. no biggie. Great guy with great ability.

Cant wait to see if he sings at the Cubs game again. he always does the 7th inning stretch each year.... the "take me out to the ball game" song. Hopefully time will permit him to do so.
At the ballgame ( My friends and I have seen him) he seems to have the MOST fun
and is truly himself. He has a condo across from Ditkas restaurant.

they were also filming last night i believe near Sources and the 20. My dad lives right around the corner and he said it was annoying because of how bright they had the lights.

filming on St Dominique, corner of Ste Catherine.
It's 2.50am and i can see huge spotlights in the area from my window. Too lazy to walk 3 blocks to go check. But this afternoon the trucks and crew were there and they were pretending it was Buffalo, NY.
Yeah, I was there last night (back entrance of the Metropolis) and there was an Buffalo Bank & ATM Machine on the corner + a club entrance that reads "Girls, Girls, Girls"...
I took some pictures of the corner for souvenirs.

Can you blame them? Thanks to New York State taxes, it's too expensive to conduct any sort of business let alone film making.
Even with the new tax incentives that went into effect, it was too late for the producers of this movie to even bother shooting anything in Buffalo.
What I can't believe is that they're having Montreal double as Buffalo. Sure, they'll probably use stock footage / fly over shots of Buffalo but I think the topography of that region doesn't look like Buffalo at all(too hilly). I think Toronto or Mississauga, Ontario would've been much closer in overall look.
Remember that Gross Pointe Blank wasnt filmed in Gross Pointe. This one just had a few shots of Michigan.
Similar situation? Possibly not.
I doubt that Buffalo has the crew/infrastructure already in place like Montreal would. Hamilton would actually be the perfect match for Buffalo though.
