What was the point of having a '[SPOILER] factory'?

As in, what did they do with the babies? It never really showed it. At the end it shows a few babies but there had to have been more. So were they selling the babies? Eating them? Selling the babies to people who then eat them? Why would someone want a supply of untraceable babies?

I believe it was called The Factory because the killer was using the women to have babies hence a "Baby Factory"

Kelsey couldn't get pregnant so the babies were supposed to be for her.

One of the drugs that was asked for is used to prolong life. Some of the babies died.
