Is this movie worth watching?

Where'd ya see the trailer at? And the IMDb rating is inaccurate. I could give this a 10 right now and I haven't even seen it.

To me anything with John Cusack is worth watching at least once, he's a consistently great actor. Same for Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a few others.

While this movie will not make you physically ill, it is quite boring and uninvolving. The story is lame and the writing lazy. I like Cusack and Carpenter, but both seem to be phoning it in. Maybe it's just the poor direction that fails to ignite any spark in the film.

I thought it was pretty good, at least until the end. It fell off the rails a bit, but still a good popcorn flick, to be sure.

I just caught this on Netflix a couple nights ago, and it's a very forgettable film. I found myself bored during the entire film, and for being a thriller it lacked completely in being one. The script was boring, the story was boring, the acting was overall sub par, and the villain was lame. I'm not really familiar with Dallas Roberts (I see he was in Dallas Buyers Club, and I can't even recall him being it), but he was definitely not a good pick for the killer/psycho. He was one of the most boring "evil" characters I've ever seen in a film.

After watching this very boring film, the writers throw a curveball at you at the end. I didn't see it coming (maybe I just didn't pay good enough attention to pick up on any loose hints...but don't worry they'll flash back to show you these subtle clues). It seemed like a very forced twist, which rather than being interesting to me, made me hate this film even more. I wouldn't ever give this a repeat watch. 3.5/10 for me, and I feel that I'm quite possibly being a bit generous with that rating.
