It's not bad, but the movie reminds me of Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
The first movie reminded me of The King of Comedy and Taxi Driver, and the second reminded me of Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk: people worship a hero or villain, but they aren't what they seem.
The movie isn't bad, but the musical scenes were unnecessary. It would be a better movie without them, and the twist is cliché: the hero or villain admits at the end that he isn't what people think.
Despite the ending being cliche, I can understand why the writers chose the ending, otherwise, it would be just a repeat of the ending of the first movie.
