The acting is horrible. The animation for Pinocchio is really just
fake. There are so many things wrong about this movie.
There are still a few things good about it:
Thomas Sangster is acting
& the woman who is acting the Fairy
The script for the movie is bad though.

In what way is the script bad?
The woman portraying the cricket is totally distracting and superfluous, ruining every scene with pretentious gesticulations and mannerisms.

shareI didn't find this version bad (it is much better than the versions of Roberto Benigni, Video Brinquedo or Phoenix Games), but the Cricket was mishandled. Well, doing a good Cricket is one of the hardest things of adapting Pinocchio.
