Does anybody have any idea how long it will take before this movie is released on DVD? My daughter made the final cut as an extra. Gotta have it as a souvenir for her 2 seconds of stardom.

I haven't heard WHEN, but nowdays, it's not taking very long.... between Theater and DVD.
Was your daughter in the hospital hallway scene ???

We got our few seconds too... as fans in the stands.... and are looking forward to the DVD release.
If I hear anything I'll let you know.

No, she was in the scene in front of Carver High School and then she was walking up to the car when it pulled up in front of the school. It happened so fast I didn't see it when we went to see the movie. My daughter spotted it right off.

DVD WILL BE RELEASED IN AUGUST 2011 AT http://www.movieinsider.com/dvds/estimated/2011/.

I HAVE SEEN WHERE NETFLIX ADVERTISED IT FOR MEMBERS. I AM NOT A SUBSCRIBER.
I TRIED TO VERIFY THAT NETFLIK HAS IT, BUT I COULD NOT LOCATE IT.

I also heard Netflix yesterday. Also found out Sony bought the rights.

“The 5th Quarter” will be released on DVD and BluRay August 30, 2011 through 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
