Swedish couple goes hiking in the frozen north after pissing off local rednecks

I don't know if it is the Swedish language, the movie, the subtitles or what, but the two actors in this movie have no chemistry at all. We are introduced to them as the to-be husband is graduating from engineering school. Next we see they have married and moved in together and hubby works all day while wife goes to medical school. Oh, the wife is black, in blonde haired blue eyed Sweden. Husband and wife drift apart and argue over chores, so husband invents an impromptu get-away to the frozen north with their dog Boris.

The acting is bad, the dialog is corny, the subtitles say one thing while the dubbing says another ... this movie got on my nerves pretty quick, and from there it just gets worse.

The racist angle threw me a bit as I always thought Sweden was a pretty laid back country.

I thought the rest was alright tbh. I didn't have dubbing on though, only subtitles. I can imagine that is quite annoying.

You’re not supposed to watch foreign movies dubbed.

Also of course the subtitles don’t match the dub, the subtitles are a perfect translation of the original dialogue while the dub can’t be a perfect translation of the original dialogue since it has to match the lips of the actors.
