LEGAL FACT: Luman is guilty of false imprisonment.
Prove me wrong.
sharemy employer is guilty of false imprisonment everyday!
As Severance is a work of fiction I say that the crime of "false imprisonment" does not exist in this world.
but as the building is located in NJ, I am going to assume NJ law applies. False imprisonment charges in New Jersey are governed by N.J.S.A. 2C:13-3. A person may be charged with false imprisonment if they knowingly and unlawfully restrain someone else so as to interfere substantially with their freedom.
With a signed contract and the employees voluntarily showing up to work everyday I don't see any criminal charges sticking. Also, outies want to be there and they would be the ones that would testify at any trial. they would say they want to be there.
they do not consider innies human beings. "You are not a person, I am."
shareInnies physically cannot be freed so therefore they aren't imprisoned
