... except for Arquette. She is an accomplished actress but she grates me in this. Other than her, I give high marks for everything about this show. The writing, directing, production quality, and acting are all excellent.

Severance was definitely a slow burn for me. I hadn't even heard of the TV series until I found myself browsing the selection on Apple TV last month and checked out its trailer. The slow pace and subdued lighting in the first episode relaxed me to the point of inducing drowsiness that I actually fell asleep halfway into it and so had to rewatch it the next night. It was well-nigh a repeat of events watching the second episode too!๐ But, after that the growing intrigue overtook my heavy head and so I stayed wide awake for the remainder of the series, which I thoroughly enjoyed!๐ฟ There were no issues over Patricia Arquette for me. I found her performance as a cold and cunning boss stellar, especially since I've only seen her in heroine type roles.
