If you loved TW, I highly recommend a movie from the late 60's called "In Search of America" starring a very young Jeff Bridges as a college dropout, who decides to take his family (mom, dad, grandma) on a cross country journey in a converted bus to "look" for America. They come across a rock festival, befriend five hippies, set up camp with them, become involved in their lives and find both joy and heartbreak with them. A very engaging, enjoyable drama!

Ang Lee hit another home run. This movie is the perfect companion piece to watch after Michael Wadleigh's acclaimed documentary (Woodstock). It was reconfortant to see how come once, if only for 3 days, people could live in peace despite of their different religious beliefs, race, sexual orientation, and so on. Specially Nowadays when you have a nazi as the governor of Arizona and "Terminator" is ruling California, not to mention the 8 years in the office of that cross-eyed warmonger.
Sad the 60's are gone.

Great movie, I enjoyed it very much! The acting was superb (especially the parents and the drag queen).
And it was interesting twist, seeing a Woodstock movie not focusing on the music, but rather on the people.
