What is is movie? Respectful?

As a genuine admirer and enthusiast of both the era and the concert... Is this worth watching? Does it actually add or say anything? Or is it just another stereotypical tripe mocking the era?

And why isn't anyone playing Richie Havens? Does he not appear in the film? I saw his name on the soundtrack...

For people who either lived through the 60s, or admire the age, like me, what are your thoughts of this movie?

Anyone?
Anyone here who actually LIVED (or survived, "he he") through the sixites and have seen this....

None of the musicians are in the movie. It isn't about the concert itself but more about how it all came to be. The concert is more of a backdrop. We never get close enough to the stage to see any of the performances. It's all happening in the background.

And yes, I think it plays it out respectfully. The townfolk were portrayed a little harshly at times, but I can only imagine that they were portrayed accurately considering the time and the place.
