the LSD trip scene
was great just for the music. "Forever Changes" is an amazing album
movie was alright as well.

It was a good scene, especially due to the music choice.

It's like death eatin' a cracker.
Probably the best acid trip scene I've seen in a movie. The visuals are very close to acid-induced reality.
shareI agree. You see a lot of tripping scenes in tv and movies but this was by far the most accurate I can ever remember seeing.
shareI was amazed to see that hallucinagenic effects were really close to my experiences...the only thing missing was the "patterning" effects and the "trails" although I could see a taste of trails with the card players......

I agree, it's the closest to reality I've ever seen in a movie. Maybe it's just me but I was never "starving" (like Elliot stated) when I was coming down from a trip.
“Wait a minute, wait a minute. You ain’t heard nothin’ yet!”
Not "starving" but there was a bowl of vanilla ice cream at an all night cafe on South University to be had.
shareFrom smoking pot, yeah, I got the munchies, but I couldn't put any food away during or coming down from a trip. I think it may have been a side effect from the strychine used in the tab or micro dot form of LSD? That was in the early 70's. But as someone already pointed out Elliot took a hugh piece of Blotter Acid.
“Wait a minute, wait a minute. You ain’t heard nothin’ yet!”
Wow. I was truly amazed when I watched the acid trip scene. I hadn't seen this movie in a while and just finished watching it on t.v. and that scene brought me to tears.
shareI agree. It was the only part of the movie I liked. I loved the music choice and the way they used colors to heighten the acid outlook.
