Woodstock Festival

It seems that quite a few people are complaining that this movie didn't focus as much on the music performances at the concert. I would just like to know why. How would you expect them to accomplish this? Ang Lee did not want to insert any footage from the documentary. He filmed everything particularly for this movie. And also, In my opinon they didn't need to show much of the concert anyway because you already knew that it was happening. Although there were a few shots of the stage from a distance during the concert.

I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm just wondering what some of your opinions are on this.

I thought it was perfect, hearing the music in the distance (which would be how most everyone there heard it) and then representing it as colorful energy waves during the acid trip.
