I didn't think I would like this movie, but ended up loving it.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really love this film. Everything about it appealed to me.

I did not see Taking Woodstock.Is Skylar Astin's performance good or excellent as John Roberts in it?How much is John in this film?

Skylar is barely in it. Maybe 3 scenes with very little dialog.

OP, just watched it for the first time today and I absolutely loved it. I'm obsessed with Woodstock and the whole hippy era anyway and I thought they captured the mood of that time very well.

I originally watch it for Skylar Austin and ended up loving it despite only barely seeing him. I love Vilma. He is my absolute favorite character. This movie is so beautiful, I'm totally gonna read the book, you know it will be better and hopefully have more Vilma
