Labouring, but great really.

I did enjoy this. It was nothing like I expected, and left me mid way wondering if I was whatching a tale of psychosis, or an elaborate plot unfolding.

Turns out, in some way both. I did like the acting from the main cast, some of the subplot cast, well, they get paid less, I guess lol. But it gelled. In a quirky sort of way.

Ultimately, for a sci-fi/drama/thingamajig, it blended well, even if at the end I was left wanting more. Seems to be the way of things these days, interlude setting up the idea, premise showcasing the idea, lacking, of the total idea..

Would love a sequel. Some may think this is a take of other things, but I think it did stand on it's own. and not having been party to said other things, on it's own legs, I would enjoy further from it.

ahh well, to end the day I will now go watch Savage. I've been to Boss Level, this, and why not end the night with a good ol' Kiwi film adaptation of general life in the land of fush and chups. Replete with an aussie from home and away with a snorkel tattoo.. :)

Wish me luck. Kia Ora..
