I actually like this movie but man the CGI looks bad. I mean real amatuer hour. Is it intentional? Am I missing the point?

Yeah, I like the movie too, but the cgi is really bad. Luckily there isn't that much of it, but they really should have went practical instead of cgi with this one.

The last scene was the only bad CGI in this movie that I can recall. I think it was mainly a character-driven plot, and special effects were secondary.

It was 2009 and made on the cheap!
