Terrible movie. The script I read was so much better.

This is one of those movies where they rewrote the script too many times and ended up with a much crappier version than what sold originally. I hated this movie. Harrison Ford is NOT funny. All he can do is scowl and murmur lame lines that don't get laughs. I though the lead character came off as bitchy -- making fun of people for their appearance, firing the lead anchor in public like that. The script showed her to be much more sympathetic and likable.

I thought the humor was non-existent, the love angle forced and tacked on, the relationship with Harrison Ford dominated too much of the boring story, and can't remember anything I thought actually worked.

The script I read was better. This was a disaster and I'm glad it flopped.
