Is Harrison Ford Ill?

I watched just 10 min of this today and I am worried about Harrison Ford. His voice, his shakes, his whole demeanor.Ill? Parkinson's? Medication?I can't figure out why no one has talked about this here. Anyone notice this?

I know he's getting old but I'm pretty sure he was acting.

fields, if i thought he was acting i never would have posted this above. the voice and the subtle shakes are not easily 'acted'.

I wasn't try to make fun of you. I just hate to think Harrison Ford was getting ill. I like idolized him growing up. The thought of hearing that he died would be heartbreaking. Didn't mean to sound like I was badgering you or anything. Sorry about that.

i too have long admired him. thus my concern.

I thought the same, Fields201. That shaking of the hand as he was holding the cigar was not natural. I was thinking Parkinson's too.
Now that you mention it, perhaps his general inexpressitivity is yet another symptom. I like Harrison but this was too deadpan, too sullen, very little comedic timing (a few times it worked and he was funny) so I too am concerned.

i read your post before i saw the movie, and maybe i wouldn't have noticed if i hadn't...but the thing that stood out for me was the cigar scene. he was trembling quite a bit. the camera cut away a couple of times, but it was noticeable. it wasn't part of the character.

his voice? eh. he's just old.

yes that was the scene that i saw; the cigar bench thing.
i pay alot of attention to how people age (i'm 59); i definitely have not seen a voice change like that at his age. i hear voices change when pwoplw are in their 80's sometimes.

he is a wicked private person so i'm guessing that if he is ill, we will not see it in the press. I think I'll rewatch Working Girl soon so I'll feel better about him.

When he was on Conan last week, he acted very much like his character Mike. When I saw the interview - before the movie - I was wondering wtf was up with him, as he seemed very not like himself. After I saw the movie, I was tempted to wonder if he was just doing the interview in character... but I'm not sure. He just seemed very un-Harrison Ford-like.

Makes me wonder if Indiana Jones 5 had been put on hold or something because of Harrison Ford's health. Man, I hope not.
