This movie officially marked the end of Harrison Ford's stardom
Sad, but true...this movie was a horrendous embarrassment for Harrison Ford.
It signaled the end of his active acting career as a movie star and possibly as a movie actor...unless (and I hope he does this) he goes to TV as James Garner did in his 80's.
But, I will ALWAYS defend Harrison to the person who said..."Who has more acting talent? Harrison Ford or Pinocchio?"...by saying...well, OK...maybe Pinocchio does have more talent...BUT, talent is not a prerequisite for being a "movie star" which Harrison MOST CERTAINLY was.
He is not a movie star now...of course...but behind those deep jowls and facial lines, you can see that HE WAS a movie star...even though young kids do not know that!
So, as a BIG...BIG fan, let me say please...please...EVERYONE...give Harrison Ford a break and let him enjoy his wealth and his senior citizen lifestyle.
He earned it by taking all those falls in the Indiana Jones movies, the movies that obviously brought out the very best of his acting skills!
