Is an Executive Producer not a good job?

She was an Executive Producer on Wake Up New Jersey, and her mom says she is embarrassing. I don't know much about broadcasting, but judging from how she was telling people what to do and such it seems like not a terrible job. Having that much control at 28 doesn't seem like such bad work. Am I wrong?

An executive producer job for a great news show is a good job. What was embaressing, was that she still worked at Wake Up New Jersey after six years and still thought that she could get to Today.

You couldn't pay me enough to take a job like that. I wouldn't have time to go onto imdb.

Executive producer on a great news show is a great job. Executive Producer for an early AM show IN NEW YORK CITY is a great job too.

The embarrassing part isn't her previous job. It is that she is so determined to make it in the creative industries despite all the signs (up until then) telling her it isn't going to work out.

I thought she wasn't Executive Producer in NJ, that was the position she was expecting to be promoted to, but Chip got that job.
