how the hell they get Joe Pesci to make this???

look, the guy barely works.. he seems to not want too, he knows enough bigwigs in this town to get parts if he wants..
the last movie he made was The Good shepard, 4 years prior to this, with his friend Deniro, before that, 8 years he made leathal weapon 4.

so he decides to make this garbage after not working for 5 years?

you kidding me or what!????????????

I heard he is gonna make a movie with Al pacino, robert deniro and marty scorses directing soon. hope to god this revives him and his judgement.

ohh and the John Gotti movie???? really????????????

come on.... you follow casino and goodfellas with the john gotti made for television special???

Pesci does a great job of being bad. This movie may not strike a high note with many but Pesci's character is noteworthy. The movie is character driven with a weak and predictable plot. And why do the likes of Pesci and Mirren make these movies? ... well they're actors doing work that they like to do. In this case 'Love Ranch' doesn't quite hit the mark but it does have its moments.

Maybe the screenplay looked good. There's no way to foresee how the final movie will look until it's actually cut. Plus, you know, lots of hot young women dressed as hookers. Pesci probably had a great time filming this. (and I do mean a "GREAT TIME.")

The only truly embarrassing thing is that horrific hairpiece they made him wear.
