The major clue/reveal at the beginning?? (spoilers)

Tara is texting Amber at the beginning of the movie. All of a sudden, Amber says that "this is not Amber" after Ghostface calls/threatens Tara.

And then later on...it's revealed that Amber really is Ghostface.

So why didn't Tara ask Amber after the attack about what happened with the texting? Why wasn't Tara suspicious of Amber and that she possibly was involved in the attack? Since Amber knew about what was going on? It's been since January since I've seen this, but this question has been on my mind.

They suggest a few times the possibility of her phone having been cloned. They did that in the original too. Maybe a few of the others. I don't know if they actually went to the trouble of doing it, or if it was just something they said to throw suspicion. I did enjoy how Amber and Robbie were constantly suggesting the other was the killer.

yeah the explanation was Amber's cell was cloned
