Also clearly Richie was never driving to Modesto.
i guess as long as all cops do it, it's fine.
the problem with Richie is.. i immediately suspected him as one of the killers because of the stupid reason to leave the room for beer when we, the audience, knows he wanted to drive the f*** outta town asap.
