That was my exact thought. When that was revealed there was a pretty solid eye roll here too. He got taken out by a teenage girl, who is apparently 6 feet tall with superhuman strength when in the ghostface uniform, but 5 foot 100 pounds of nothing otherwise. I know it’s 2022 and I’m not supposed to say that a little teenage girl would not physically overpower Dewey, but yeah, I’m saying it, and I didn’t go for that at all. Pretty laughable.
Also, was that the worst hospital in the history of mankind? Like 6 people were attacked there in the span of a day or two…maybe have some better security cameras, and some extra guards on notice? Seems like anyone can walk in there and kill whoever they want at any time. 🤣
Overall though, it wasn’t good, but entertaining enough. I really enjoyed the “requel” speech, and it was spot on, which was strangely ironic, considering the film they were making and we were watching. And I say that as a lover of the original films who can’t stand remakes, which is what the speech was making fun of. Haha.
