Scream 6 Ideas

I have noticed each movie in the series has a different theme it is meta critical of:

Scream = slasher films
Scream 2 = sequels
Scream 3 = trilogies
Scream 4 = reboots
Scream 5 = “requels” (reboot/sequel combo)

The 6th film should cover multiverses since that seems to be a trend Hollywood is heading towards with recent examples being the new Spider-Man and the upcoming Flash movie featuring multiple timelines and different actors playing the same roles. It also could be a reference to how horror franchises such as Halloween have different continuities between sequels. Perhaps there is some sci-fi element introduced that causes multiple universes to collide leading to there being multiple ghost faces from different timelines. For example a Ghostface who is from a timeline where Billy succeeded in killing Sidney comes into play and Dewey and Randy are still alive while Sidney and Gale are dead, which leads alternate-universe Randy to reveal the rules to a multiverse movie. Maybe Jay and Silent Bob are somehow the cause of it which would retroactively give their cameo appearance in Scream 3 meaning.
