Surprisingly great movie. Easily the best motivation since the original

Toxic fandom and the total lack of originality in Hollywood. Love it. Great movie.

Are you serious? Just cause it's meta means it's good?

Yeah, I agree. The original motivations were way more personal and could exist in the real world. Who has ever killed because Hollywood is crap? People seem to think Scream was way more meta than it really was.

I liked the self-awareness of this one too! I especially like how they subtly (or maybe not so subtly) hate on Rian Johnson and The Last Jedi and the concept of the “requel” (reboot sequel). It’s a much stronger and more relevant theme than than Scream 4’s theme, which was “the rules don’t apply anymore.” I hope the film gains enough traction to make the concept of “requels” a joke and force Hollywood to do something different.

Scream 4 was ‘I don’t need friends, I need fans’ and was about the fake victimhood that little wokies love to wallow in.

This one was made by wokies targeting ‘toxic fandom’. Wes and Williamson would never have served up this steaming pile.
