I feel this series is becoming tired with its numerous sequels. It is overstaying its welcome as a franchise. Scream 2 was the only sequel I even personally cared for (not that everyone shares that opinion with me)

shareIt's tough. While I agree with what you say, each is enjoyable in its ways, even 3. And I got to watch parts of 4 get filmed so that one's special to me.
But yeah, it's not a series that needs a dozen entries

i agree with you...i personally think scream should have never had a sequel. i do like what part 4 brings to the table though it's an interesting take to me with it's modern updates and i think it would have been received better if it were the only sequel to the original.
sharePart 4 would've been better received if it were released around 2004, rather more than 10 years later, after we've moved on from the franchise.
