Satire of Reboots/Remakes

This film should be a satire of reboots/remakes like how the original films satire the rules of slasher movies and their sequels. Maybe killings could start again after a new reboot of Stab is created and new young characters are brought in who are built up to be the “new Sidney,” “new Dewey,” etc. while the original characters are like Laurie Strode in 2018 Halloween or Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Then maybe the “reboot” characters are revealed to be the villains.

it would be a fun idea.
the OG Scream was pretty much a parody of the slashers with whats-his-face establishing the cliche rules to survive a horror movie.
