I have a question about the movies plot in comparison to Eagle Eye.

I never saw Eagle Eye but I thought it looked awesome but then someone told me the ending (SPOILERS)

that the whole thing was being controlled by an AI. Now I thought that was stupid so I didn't bother seeing it. If it was all being controlled by a real person or something that's more interesting.

So for people that have seen this movie is it all just a big computer/AI? Because if it is I won't bother seeing it. But if he's being instructed by someone/something real I want to see it.

It's still an entertaining movie and you don't find out until near the end that the AI is in control. This movie is also more gritty and realistic than Eagle Eye...

Ha, it's a copy of an action movie with the action scenes removed. This movie was nothing but a mash-up of eagle eye, the terminator, and a couple of others. This may have been more realistic yes, but that doesn't make it more entertaining...
