I definitely saw the War Games similarity. I try not to use "rip off" because it gets tossed out too much on these forums, but I was right there to say it with this. The ending was a joke! Blech!
The "convincing the computer it is wrong" schtick needs to be shelved until you can do that to your home PC.
I believe the original premise for "War Games" was taken from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", which was adapted from one of the ST:TOS episodes.
There are no original ideas.
