just how bad is it ?

Have to agree....just goes to show you that being a big star at one time or another doesn't mean much at all...I kinda felt sorry for Raimes and Burns...but, at least they got some work.
I haven't liked Sheen much since Apocalypto Now.

This film is as bad as it gets;much worse than Eagle Eye which was not that bad actually.
I gave it a 4/10 and I think I was quite generous.
Much of the acting is not bad but the direction and especially the script are atrocious.
Too many plotholes and implausibilities almost in every shot.
Did this film get a theatre release anywhere in the States or Europe?
Imdb does not list my country(Greece),but states a 12 March 2009 release in Kazakhstan instead.

It's incredibly tedious, unbelievable, dumb, etc.. It was sort of like the Left Behind of espionage thrillers.

Making it through this movie was herculean. I finally gave up and couldn't finish it. I wonder how or why such movies get made.

Agreed! One of the worst film I've ever seen.

Acting was bad, no character empathy, the actors felt themselves like they were bored... That movie just couldn't find it's tone: sometimes Guy Ritchie, sometimes Mission Impossible, sometimes Friends...

Tedious, it was dragging it's feet. Watched it on TV, thank god!

Only upside was some action scenes and the sex scene were filmed ok...
