I find it ludicrous that a university grad whose dad is a big shot in the democratic party can't afford 900 dollars for something so important and has to ask the presidential candidate for the money !! Made me question the script

In accord with the prior poster, I don't think she was a "university grad." She was a student intern. Going a bit further, I think it's highly likely she wasn't working for basically nothing, but for literally nothing.
