I never got the impression that cindy was actually leaving dean at the end ... this was just another dramatic outburst (kind of like the one cindy's mom and dad used to have) in a toxic relationship that neither of them actually ever go through with leaving the other. they just fight all the time and make up. one of those relationships where one or the other or both are just addicted to the drama.

I just watched this last night and I found the ending a little unsatisfactory to be honest! It did seem that she is constantly telling him that she doesn't want him although her use of more specific words this time make him believe it more? When he went to find his wedding ring it broke my heart a little, however the scene at the end felt like perhaps a huge bit had been cut out that shouldn't have been, how did the their daughter know what was going on?
