Otto and Alicent got their Karma. It's hilarious

After S2 Ep 7

So... Alicent and her daddy Otto Hightower created this whole situation and war because they wanted their own blood to sit on the throne. So they cast out Rhaenyra and her sons from King's Landing and snatched her crown. Despite her being named by king as his successor.

War started, children and dragons died from both sides.

And then, as Otto and Alicent were prepared to rule kingdom, by being wise advisors to her children - they got kicked out by the same children. Completely. At first Aegon kicked Otto from capital. And then Aemond kicked his mommy from council like she was some trash and basically was like: "Go to kitchen woman. You have no right to be here. Don't let the door kick you on the way out".

And Alicent is so sad and depressed now. She did that all for nothing. While they all could just live under the rule of queen Rhaenyra and peace would be in kingdom.

Karma hit Otto and Alicent hard.

And it's interesting that Alicents children don't love and respect her at all. Not boys, not girl. Despite her being normal mom. But they all act like they just tolerate her. Even children of Cercei respected her more. Even Joffrey.

Not to mention that Rhaenyra's sons love her and respect.
