my god they've finally done it, 3 birthing scenes in one season!

What an achievement of humanity. 3 painful bloody birthing scenes in a single season. Women's greatest achievement on display for all to see, not once but 3 times!

I think they were going for a record number of birthing scenes on a TV show. Well, mission accomplished. lol....

This third one was waaaay over the top though.

Weren't there actually FOUR birthing scenes?

- Aemma's failed C-section in the first episode
- the birth of Rhaenyra's third bastard son before she had to present him to Alicent
- Laena's failed childbirth before Vhagar roasts her
- and that bizarre birthing where Rhaenyra pulls the baby out by its head
