That has to be the dumbest statement I've ever read. People are allowed to have different tastes, you know. I LIVE for good comedy, and think I have a fairly good sense of humor, and I find Reno 911 totally unwatchable. That's not an attack on the show, or anyone who likes it, it's just my personal opinion, which I am entitled to.

I guess the real reason that I cannot appreciate that show is that the show that it is parodying (Cops) is so brain-dead that I cannot even appreciate a send up of the genre. That is among the lowest of the garbage that is passed as entertainment on TV these days, real lowest-common denominator crap.

Weird...I'm not the biggest Important Things fan, but I easily prefer it to either Reno or Drawn Together. Reno 911 is a last resort for me, and Drawn Together means it's time to go read or something.
And though I did enjoy Chappelle Show, he doesn't have a monopoly on sketch comedy and he's been MIA for how many years now? I think it's time to stop mourning and move on. I did think Carlos Mencia was meant to be a substitute, and a pretty poor one, but Demetri Martin is a completely different style of humor so it's really apples and oranges...
