loves the Monty Python/Mel Brooks 'period humour'
I noticed that Demitri Martin loves doing sketches set in various periods of time like the Middle Ages, Medieval Times, the Renaissance,etc.
This is refreshing as opposed to falling back constantly on pop culture. This seems to be very Monty Python-esque or even like Mel Brooks' History of the World Part 1.
