Yeah, when I saw the DVD cover I actually thought it WAS Jeff Bridges! lol
Then Val Kilmer's character appears starts talking and I think "hold on a sec, that doesn't sound like Jeff Bridges"...give the dude a good look and I'm like "holly crap! That's Val Kilmer!!" Unrecognizable off the cuff - LOL -
I really enjoyed his performance, reminds you of what a great actor he is. It's a pitty he doesn't do more quality movies. This one was good.

+1 to those thinking it was jeff. to me val's weight had thrown me off, dont ever remember him being this heavy, and couldn't imagine him putting on extra weight for such a role, being that this is sorta a low budget film..

I'd seen Kilmer's name in the opening credits and forgot all about him until about an hour into the film when I suddenly thought "Is THAT him?"
Wow, he's changed.
In the special features, the director talks about Val putting on weight and buffing up for the role.
