I agreee he is the best in this movie.

I agree he should get one. This was a very complex character. Even though he murdered people I felt compassion for him.

The name is Stephen and I'm male.

I had a hard time feeling compassion for Kilmer's character after it was revealed why he was in prison. If he had killed the two pieces of garbage who had brutally murdered his family, that would have been one thing. But to kill all of those innocent people for the sake of the crime of others wasn't very endearing. Nevertheless, I did feel *something* for Smith, and I certainly thought Kilmer was excellent in his portrayal of him.

It is like Hannibal Lector's character. I know he should be in prison but the actor did a wonderful performance.

This is definitely Kilmer's second best performance of his career after Tombstone.
