Was this supposed to take place in CA? I think thats where Corcoran State Prison is...
Anyways, Val Kilmers says that the Blacks, Pacific Islanders and Asians put aside their beef and click up.
Some Pacific Islanders are part black, but I surprised to hear that Asians clicked up with blacks. They showed a Asian guy in there, with 'Chinese' tatted on his belly(prob an actor with a fake tat)
OTOH, there may not be many Asians, and they kind of have a connection with the Islanders, so maybe thats how it is in California?
Wondering if anyone knows...

Not exactly true. Blacks have their own car along with the whites, northern mexicans and southern mexicans.

Asians are usually in the 'others' car mixed in with the Pacific Islanders. Asians do not back the blacks up and vice versa it would be suicide for the Asians as the blacks beef with the whites and mexicans.

Asians are the most complicated and are not a monolithic group. They are more divided by class then race. But among the race, the rule is, the further northern in the hemisphere, the more white they are. Koreans(especially Christian) hook with wife. Polynesians might car with Latinos as with younger Philippinos. Older flips hate japs and would run with whites.

It is just not a simple formula.

Are you sure man? I know that there are inter rivalries between Asian groups, but if they are outnumbered wouldnt they tend to put it aside? Maybe in CA they arent that outnumbered. I could see Filipinos going with Latinos, though. Also, I thought Japanese were thought as some of the whitest Asians?

If they were smart the Whites Hispanics and Asians would all group together against the blacks. Even out the odds. But for some reason whites in prison choose to identify themselves with Nazism, instead of just being whites.

This is the way it goes, first the whites are all controlled by the Aryan Brother hood, their allies are the mexican mafia, and some other mexican gangs depending on the State their in, blacks and one whole gang, if your mix with black you go with the blacks.

The Asians are split into many groups but works together and fight as one whole gang, and because of their small numbers, are Allied with the black gangs, they don't fight with or for the black gangs their just allies in all U.S prisons because their enemies with all the latino gangs.

The latinos are split into 4 groups depending on the state their in, here in California the mexican Mafia Controls all latino gangs in the southern california territories and the La Nuestra Familia controls all of the northern California latinos gangs territories, in other states the mexicans are split into 2 the legal Mexicans born in the U.S, and the Illegal Mexicans, and are other latinos, black asian and white gangs in prison all over the USA, but the largest gangs in the U.S prisons are the Aryan Brotherhood, Black Gorilla Family, La Nuestra Familia and the Mexican Mafia.
