Didn't expect such a sad ending *MAJOR SPOILERS*
I find it funny that Smith said the original script was too dark while this one still ended kind of dark if bittersweet. Dante dies being miserable and never getting over the death of Becky, him and Randal only rekindel their friendship on his deathbed, and then it ends with Randal being stuck again working at the QuickStop even though he gets bailed out of having to split owneship with Emma thanks to Elisa's NFT thing.
Aside from the NFT shit, it's a realistic ending, just not the one I expected for this series.
