Great movie, lame ending (spoilers)
Why would she take care of him?? After all he did to her?? Spending her time and money on him???
No, just no.
I also really liked this movie. The older I get, the more I appreciate foreign films and TV shows. I also saw The Innocent with Mario Casas (he played Angel) and it was an excellent show!
Re: the ending, I found this online and it sums things up quite well: "Vane didn't stay with Angel out of the kindness of her heart. Instead, she stayed because she wanted her revenge. Since he become paralyzed from the neck down, Angel physically could not move, meaning that their roles were now reversed; Vane had all the power. With Vane in charge, she could do what she pleased with Angel, and he had no choice but to sit and deal with the consequences of his actions."
I, for one, can certainly understand why Vane, at least for awhile, would want to "take care" of Angel.
