I loved season 1, but season 2 is just meh

Its all art and no substance, the writing is so mediocre I felt my brain cells dying.
character motivations are constantly changing to accommodate every senseless subplot.
consequences are non existent, so nothing matters.
The poor world building, poor character development and the "guess how much time has passed" time jumps didn't help.

Its like Game of Thrones Season 8, really disappointing.

my overall rating:
season 1 = 8.5/10 stars
season 2 = 4/10 stars

No consequences? So many likeable characters died near the end... GoT S8 may have disappointed me but this sure didn't.

So many plot devices died near the end, the ''likeable characters'' are presumed dead.

The plot ran like an 80s Japanimation. It was all over the place where one or two lines explain everything and if you miss it you are a bit clueless as to why things are happening. Also, characters and their arcs change so much it's intolerable. There are also characters who have storylines that seem like they were added as filler or for the sake of diversity.

In the end, it wasn't bad. I watched the entire thing. I'll never watch it again or remember the name of a single character though.
