INSANELY underrated masterpiece from Scott

In wake of Tony Scott's tragic death I found myself thinking about his films and how much respect they DON'T usually get from critics. Well This film came to mind first because, in my opinion, it is one of the best films he has ever made that nobody gave him credit for. Brian Helgeland's tight, absorbing script with Denzel and Travolta's great performances riffing off each other plus Tony's camera angles and filters made this one of the better remakes made in recent years. I enjoyed this movie so much I saw it twice in the theater, just like Man on Fire in it's initial run. For the life of me I can't figure out why more people don't talk about this movie as I think it's a great example of balancing characters with style and flash. RIP Tony. You made some great ones indeed.

You made some great ones indeed.

And this was not one of them. I can almost say with a straight face he might of jumped off a bridge after seeing this garbage one last time.

What a callous, *beep* remark.

Any chance you'd be willing to jump off a bridge as well? Unlike Scott, you're good for nothing.
