I'll hold my hands up and say it was a 5 for me because I went in (under duress) expecting to absolutely hate it as a huge fan of the original, and quite enjoyed it. And I've seen many worse this year. Sorry for my questionable taste eve, in my defence it might well have caught me when my critical faculties were at their lowest!

I gave it an 8.
It had a lot of great dialogue, I felt like Washington gave a great performance, i liked Gandolfini as the mayor character, it brought me into a world (in this case the subway control room) and used the setting well, the action was good, the twists were good, it found ways to keep the suspense going, i liked it
