Women are so selfish
Come on seriously, both Walter and Geo were in pressure packed, life or death situations and they were asked for a gallon of milk and to say "I love you", respectively?

shareWell asking for milk is just her way of saying "come back alive from this OK I love you baby". I really loved that scene I was expecting a kind of tear-fest at that time but the director did a good job of not taking it that way.

yeah, well, the other girl had no such excuse.she almost got that kid killed.
shareYes of course you should judge women based on 2 fictional characters written by men.
shareYes we should! What hell were those broads thinking??? He might die and all you have to say is that you dont have ENOUGH MILK?!?! You want LOVE?! I believe these women represent womankind. I judge womankind for their actions. And may I add that when we talk about MANkind, we refer to all humans. Because the man shares. But WOMANkind only refers to women. Its always about women to women. Selfish!!!
shareI'm a female and that love u bit pissed me off. I was like is the I Love You worth u seeing your b/f s brains splattered all over the webcam. Shut ya piehole!
sharewhereas all the men in it are perfect specimens of manhood.....
shareWith the "Milk" scene, I understand. It's just another way of saying to come home. But the "Love me back" scene is just weird and wouldn't fit the situation at all. If a loved one had a webcam open during a hostage situation I wouldn't be blabbering or making him talk at all.
shareI'd be too busy sniveling and wetting my pants.
shareWhen he came home, he should have said :"Here's your milk, bitch" and thrown it at her face.
"Well... if it isn't Batmensch and the Goy Wonder!"
' We need milk'...What a horrible horrible line and poorly delivered.. That scene was cringeworthy.. And why the hell is Garber wasting precious time talking to his wife?
shareI am a woman and I thought the milk line was definitely Garber's wife's way of saying "You'll be ok, we'll get through this and I'll see you walking through our door with milk." HOWEVER I thought it a little ridiculous they wasted precious time arguing about whether he should buy a gallon or a half-gallon...
As far as the girl on the webcam goes, at first I was furious she was demanding for him to say "I love you" back but I don't think she knew right away he was in a hostage situation.

HOWEVER I thought it a little ridiculous they wasted precious time arguing about whether he should buy a gallon or a half-gallon...
There was a hidden significance to that also. By only agreeing to bring half a gallon, Garber was telling his wife, "I'll try but I won't fully guarantee to you that I'll be home safely".
In a way this justified Garber tracking down and killing Ryder/Ford on the bridge. If he had promised the full gallon of milk he would have let him go and gotten home safely to his wife without doing that.
Don't forget the woman with the kid who had no problem with the black man dying instead of her.
shareIf this was in london,he would of only had to carry a Pint of milk...much lighter to carry then struggling with a full gallon, poor fella.
shareIn the U.S., depending on the store, we have choices of pint, quart, half-gallon, and gallon. Some of the warehouse stores like Costco have boxes with two 1-gallon jugs.
Not only do we have choices of the various sizes, we also have the fat content of the milk, such as non-fat/fat-free, 1%, 2% and whole milk.
Think how that scene would have played out if they got into discussing all of the quantities and fat levels. Maybe you all should be grateful that they only talked about half-gallon vs. gallon.
