I'm 33 and a little too excited about this

I grew up on Paddington and I am SO EXCITED. I don't care that I'm 33. I hope my toddler will be able to sit through a movie by Christmas!

Also-Jim Broadbent as Mr. Gruber=perfection.

Well good for you, I watched some Paddington cartoons as a kid so I'm also looking forward to this :)
I'm 26 btw.

Yeah, and the new Doctor Who as Mr. Curry--looking forward to that as I've been discovering some of Peter Capaldi's performances.

I think he fits the role marvelously. As long as he doesn't go full Malcolm Tucker on Paddington...

"Guess what, Mrs. Brown? I learned LOTS of new words from Mr. Curry today."

Seems like they've gone to great pains to cast good actors in this.

I'm 32 and excited! I grew up loving Paddington!

Couldn't agree more. I'd love for my Paddington Bear to tag along, but unfortunately he's looking rather shabby and well loved.

Don't feel bad I'm 62 and I have a date with my niece and great-great niece to see the movie. I fell in love with a 5 foot at least Paddington Bear that was displayed in Strawbridge Department store in the 1970's. My mother said I was too old to buy it so I got the pattern and made my own, toggle coat and all (and I can't even sew but I was determined). I've been collecting PB stuff ever since.

I actually hadn't heard of Paddington bear until news of the film started coming out, and I have to say it looks interesting. I will definitely be seeing it when it comes out.
