I hate the design of Paddington Bear.

Well, don't forget that according to the books, he's often rather sticky and dirty (due to his love of marmalade sandwiches and cream buns).

I'm okay with the design. I was a little skeptical of the already-infamous Buckingham Palace shot. It looked rather cheap and photoshopped, and Paddington looked way too tall. But this looked better to me. I like Paddington's eyes (especially that "Oh, dear" moment before the john got yanked out of the wall). And when you take a good look at the original illustrations by Peggy Fortnum, this Paddington seems to have pretty much the same proportions.

And I gotta say: I like the newest poster:

THAT looks like how I'd imagined a movie Paddington. His fur's much cleaner and fluffier here (the Browns must have made him bathe). And THERE'S the duffle coat we know and love!
