...to appeal to all the moronic kids and people out there these days. Pathetic! The trailer has put me RIGHT OFF seeing this!

And don't say something like "well don't watch it then", because NO-ONE should watch a classic memorable character become a toilet humour and crude figure in general, it would spoil 70s and 80s childrens' memories of it.

Well, not in the NEW trailer. I wasn't that crazy about the one that came before, though it did have its more book-faithful moments.

Film is not crude.
Adorable, gentle, besides a few intense beats of story action and emotion.
It doesn't tarnish the brand. Wonderful film, thankfully.

I really can't think what was in the trailer that could be considered "crude". The earwax scene maybe, if you're a MASSIVE prude, but apart from that I'm at a loss.
