Sally Hawkins' / Mrs Brown's red coat: where is it from?
Any ideas if Sally Hawkins' red coat was made specially for the production or is it available?

Gosh, i LOVE that coat too!
If you do find out about it, PLEASE let me know!!! Anna
I plan on phoning Selfridges after the Christmas rush as they have THE COAT in a glass box as part of their Paddington exhibition - I'm hoping they'll look to see if there's a label but I suspect it was made specially for the production.
Oooh we have a lead!
Maybe, they will realise there is an as yet untapped market into Mrs Brown coats!!!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we both manage to acquire one!
Who knew a bear's stepmother, dressed as a deranged primary school teacher, would become a fashion icon? My eyes were riveted to her outfits through the whole film - I could scarcely concentrate on the plot. (Purple tights with a yellow embroidered cardy and red coat? That's a bold woman.)
You and me are reading from the same page, girl!
I was hooked to the outfits from the first time she hit the frame!
Am ging to see the movie again, in order to see the movie!!! ;)
The credits list Lindy Hemmings as the costume designer. She is a member of RADA so you could always email RADA to try and get a message through to her. She has an extremely long list of films and awards to her credit, presumably she has an agent.
